Details:
Join us for a series of exciting children's events featuring interactive performances and magical experiences at local libraries! First, at the West County Community Development building on Friendship Drive, enjoy "Puppet Pizzazz" with Mr. Greg, who brings Mother Goose and other beloved characters to life through captivating giant shadow puppetry. The audience is encouraged to recite classic rhymes, sing, and creatively act out stories in this highly participatory show.
Additionally, at the Mitchell Library, don’t miss John O'Bryant's Magic Show, where children up to 12 years old will be entertained by enchanting magic and illusions set to music. Free tickets will be available at the Children's Desk 15 minutes prior to the show, so come early as space is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.
For younger aspiring adventurers, R.F. Meador Library invites children aged 2 to 8 to register for the Pirate Academy, an event dedicated to teaching the essentials of becoming a pirate. Registration opens one week prior, and spots are limited.
All programs are free and open to the public, with accommodations available upon request if arranged at least 3 days in advance. Thank you to Commissioner Charlie Riley - Precinct 2 and his team for making these community events possible!
