Tehachapi Winery is located in Cummings Valley nestled in the Tehachapi Mountain range.
An extensive forty-two acre property, with eighteen active acres of vineyard, Tehachapi Winery remains the largest producing winery in the area. Residing at an altitude of roughly 4000 ft. with unique Triassic soils of granite, this combination has produced a distinct terroir all it’s own; complex and rich in nature. Also known as the Land of Four Seasons, Tehachapi has recently been made a new American Viticultural Area (AVA). Due to it’s elevation, it has similar conditions to other high altitude vineyards found in Argentina, Italy and the Spanish Canary Islands.
