Event Description
Two experienced makers. Two classic crafts. One perfect Saturday afternoon.
We’re bringing plant lovers the ultimate double-craft experience at Lengthwise Brewery (District Blvd)! Join us on Saturday, July 25th, for a creative, step-by-step workshop where you’ll hand-craft an entire hanging display from scratch.
Here is what we are making:
The Macrame: Lots of Knots will guide you through the essential knots needed to construct a stunning, modern cotton plant hanger perfectly sized to cradle your new ceramic creation.
The Pottery: Dented Earth Pottery takes the reins to teach you the tactile world of clay as you hand-build your own custom 4-to-5 inch ceramic planter. You'll learn how to mold the perfect shape, add texture, and add those finishing details so it nests securely into a hanger.
No experience is required! Whether you're a seasoned DIYer or have never touched clay or cord in your life, we provide all the premium materials, tools, and personalized coaching you need. Come ready to create, chat, and get your hands a little dirty!
Hungry or thirsty while you craft? Lengthwise will have their full menu of legendary craft beers and pub grub available for purchase throughout the event!

What's Included: All raw clay, glaze, macrame cord, hanging hardware, tools, and professional kiln firing fees.
The Fine Print (How you get your pot!)
Because hand-built pottery requires time to slowly air-dry, and undergo the high-heat kiln firing process, you will take your finished macrame hanger home on Saturday, but your custom pot will stay with Dented Earth Pottery to be finished.
Pickup Details:
