Toolbox Learning Laboratories

Toolbox Laboratories is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing accessible, hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) activities for all ages and abilities. Since January 2022, they have offered affordable or free community engagement through markets, libraries, schools, and street fairs. Their services include classes on home repair, tool safety, project consultation, woodworking, and creative exploration, with an emphasis on emotional intelligence and cultural identity. They also offer field trips and in-classroom learning experiences, partnering with organizations like Tacoma Creates to increase access. Toolbox Laboratories aims to foster creativity, collaboration, and self-reliance by providing a welcoming environment and access to tools and materials.
