Moving In Slow:
is the musical project of Laurent Chavannes. Inspired by the confusing world around him, Laurent uses his music to make sense of what he experiences. Picking up the guitar at 11 years old started the journey to writing songs about love, loss, anxiety, happiness, and everything else that anyone can relate to. 2017 marks the beginning of Laurent independently releasing music on Soundcloud and playing shows around his hometown Miami, FL.
Since relocating, Moving in Slow has played notable Seattle venues like Barboza and Madame Lou's, received radio play on KEXP, and landed multiple placements on Spotify's Discover Weekly. Moving in Slow’s high-energy set engages audiences and offers catharsis with uplifting music and relatable lyrical themes. Laurent continues to write and produce music, pushing Moving in Slow as far as it can go.
Raegan Leilani:
Rising PNW based singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, known for blending neo-jazz, alt-pop, and experimental soul into emotionally rich compositions. Born in the late 1990s, she began writing music in 2016 and transitioned into recording and production in 2022 after apprenticing with Pierre Ferguson at Foundry Studios. Her debut EP eepy (2024) was released under Cornedbeef Records, showcasing her ethereal vocals, layered harmonies, and introspective lyricism. Raegan has performed as lead vocalist for The Emerald City 5, and as a backup singer for The Filthy Fifth, while also modeling and dancing in theatrical productions. Her upcoming album, set for release in October 2025, will be previewed through intimate listening parties across the U.S., where fans can engage with her visuals, writing process, and exclusive merch. Her style evokes comparisons to FKA twigs, Erykah Badu, and Kali Uchis, with a focus on sonic vulnerability and visual storytelling.
Margaret's Sick:
Formed in the heart of Grit City, the band channels traditional Midwest emo energy with a decidedly Pacific Northwest grit. Their discography—including tracks like Shahada and Based On A True Story—blends delicate guitar riffs with deeply vulnerable vocals. They are prominent fixtures in the local DIY and punk scenes, regularly playing all-ages shows in the Tacoma area.
