Second night added! 2 shows Friday & Saturday July 31 & Aug 1 at 7 & 9:30pm.
DJ BMF & The Phat-N-Jazzy Allstars return to Judson’s Live following two sold-out shows earlier this year, bringing their signature blend of acid jazz, funk, soul, lofi hip hop and turntablism. Born from Orlando’s legendary Phat-N-Jazzy nights at The Sapphire Supper Club, the Allstars continue a legacy of groove-driven improvisation that helped shape the city’s underground sound since 1994.
Holding down the night is DJ BMF, a seasoned selector and sonic architect known for mixing rare vinyl, curating vintage visuals, and improvising with live musicians—each fueling soulful, genre-bending sets. Over three decades, he’s moved between underground circles and global stages, sharing space with icons like Questlove, Rich Medina, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, George Clinton, The Sam Rivers Trio, Herbie Hancock & The Headhunters, Ozomatli, and Run DMC. As a producer and remixer, his work has appeared on Eighth Dimension, New Breed, Mephisto, Shadow, and Internal Bass (UK).
For these two special shows, the Allstars feature another lineup of world-class musicians:
Gerry Williams – Vocals, Keys
One of the original Phat-N-Jazzy players, vocalist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. Frontman of Hotter Than July (Stevie Wonder tribute band) and founder of STARSS Artist Development, whose credits include Mandy Moore, NSYNC, and TLC.
Christian Ryan – Saxophone, Flute
Highly in-demand multi-instrumentalist with thousands of performances across Florida’s music scene. Known for his work with Leisure Chief, Bengali 600, Cat Ridgeway, Holey Miss Moley, and Ancient Sun.
Clay Watson – Trombone
A Central Florida mainstay since age 17, Clay has performed with The Legendary JC’s, Brown Bag Brass Band, and the Sam Rivers Rivbea Orchestra. He’s shared stages with JJ Grey & Mofro, Dumpstaphunk, and Pee Wee Ellis, bringing a powerful, groove-forward sound.
Ceelos Congas (Carlos Hernandez) – Percussion
Bronx-born percussionist rooted in Afro-Caribbean and Latin traditions. A student of Justi Barreto, Ceelos bridges generations of rhythm, with early credits on the pioneering hip-hop single “This Is the Way We Rock” (1979) by The Funky Four Plus One More.
Together, the Phat-N-Jazzy Allstars deliver spontaneous compositions, deep-pocket grooves, and real-time musical conversation—where no two moments are the same. Experience Orlando’s other side of the club world live at Orlando’s premier jazz supper club Judson’s Live.
