Registration is now open for the Center for Quantitative Sciences 2026 Summer Institute, featuring four short courses this July. Detailed course descriptions and registration links can be found on the course index page (www.vanderbilt.edu/biostatistics-graduate/2026si/). The courses include "Genomic Data Analysis: From Sequencing to Biological Insights" and "Introduction to PyMc and Bayesian Modeling," scheduled for July 20-24, with registration available until July 13. "Terra-Based Cloud Computing" and "Introduction to Causal Inference" will be held from July 27-31, with registration open until July 20 or until class capacity is reached for Cloud Computing. All sessions will take place in person at the Department of Biostatistics, located at 2525 West End Avenue, with food and parking provided. Additionally, full-term mid-semester undergraduate deficiency reports will begin, and online grading for the first-half summer sessions is now open for submission of final grades for undergraduate schools.
