North Lamar Donor Center

Join us at the North Lamar Donor Center for a vital blood donation drive hosted by Millipore Sigma and KAPS Charter School. Donating whole blood is essential for saving lives, as a pint of blood is separated into red cells, plasma, and platelets, which are then sent to local hospitals for patient transfusions. We need approximately 200 donors each day to meet the local demand. Appointments are available for whole blood or double red cell donations. Upon arrival, donors will check in and undergo a brief wellness exam to ensure eligibility. The entire process, from check-in to refreshments, takes about 45 minutes to an hour, with the actual donation lasting 15-35 minutes.
