Join us for "Revolutions and Constitutions: Nation-Building in the Americas after 1776" at the Benson Latin American Collection's Ann Hartness Reading Room in Sid Richardson Hall. This exhibition, created in collaboration with UT Austin undergraduate history students and faculty, explores how the ideals of 1776 influenced independence movements and the formation of new constitutions across Latin America, reshaping the political landscape of the Americas. It features rare documents and maps alongside the digital exhibit "Polarizing Uncertainty in the Atlantic World around 1776," showcasing student research.
