Chair Yoga is a gentle yoga offering that is appropriate for nearly everyone. Modifications are offered throughout the class, allowing each student to progress at their own pace.
Self-care at its best. In this class the basic, foundational yoga postures are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques and meditation are also integrated. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement. This chair yoga class will include:
Short Relaxation/Visualization including Pranayama (Yogic Breathing)
Gradual Stretching - Warm Up the Muscles
Yoga Poses
Short Guided Meditation to Close Class
Led by Jane. We meet via Zoom and stream to Facebook. Register to join us on zoom (The link will be sent to you the day before the program.) or just watch our Facebook live! Most of the time, this class is livestreamed on Facebook. Though Jane is the big rectangle on the screen, please change your computer settings (name, image) if you don't want to be seen during a transition.
