SummerScape 2026: From the Fields to the City - A Blues Journey

The Lewes Public Library presents SummerScape 2026, featuring the performance 'From the Fields to the City: A Blues Journey' with notable artists Linda Harris, David Cole, and Main Street Blues. This engaging show takes the audience on a journey through the evolution of blues music from its rural Southern roots to its electric and urban transformation. Celebrated throughout the Delmarva region, the performers aim to spread joy and connection through sound and storytelling. As part of the Lewes 250 commemoration of America's 250th anniversary, this event honors the town’s rich past and bright future. In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved indoors to the library's large room, with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis. No registration is required; attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets. Performance begins at 7:00 PM.
