Details:
Summertime means food, friends, and fun. Free summer meals, funded by the USDA, are available to all kids and teens ages 18 and younger. Meals will be provided Monday through Thursday June 15th to August 6th from 11:05am to 3:05pm at the Greenwood Public Library, while supplies last. Times are approximate. Children must be present with their parent or guardian to receive a meal. Meals need to be eaten outside of the library.
The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), established by the USDA, ensures that children continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session. It operates primarily during the summer months when most schools are closed for instruction. SFSP connects children with the nutrition they need, helping them stay healthy and ready to learn when they return to school.
