Get ready to stomp, race, and ROAR at the Greenwood Public Library’s Dino-Olympics! 🦖🏅 Join us on July 2, 2026 from 10:30 AM–12:00 PM for an old-fashioned field day with a prehistoric twist, designed especially for kids ages 3–12.
Young dinosaurs will compete in a series of dino-themed challenges, including the Dino Egg Race, Triceratops 3-Legged Race, T-Rex Tug-o-War, and the Stegosaurus Sack Race. It’s the perfect way to burn off energy, build teamwork skills, and have a roaring good time! Special Olympics Delaware will also be setting up activity stations for kids to explore after the races.
We’ll gather in the field behind the Greenwood VFW for all the fun and games. Please note that it may be hot, so be sure to bring a water bottle and sunscreen to stay cool and comfortable. ☀️💧 This event is weather-dependent and will be canceled if it rains. Please call (302) 855-1242 for further information.
This program is a fun way to encourage positive social interaction, teamwork, strategy, and healthy competition.
