📚 Treat Your Shelf: A Gourmet Book Tasting
When: Tuesday, July 7 @ 5pm
Location: Greenwood Public Library Meeting Room
Are you stuck in a reading rut or just looking for your next great obsession? Skip the endless scrolling through reviews and join us for a time of literary exploration!
Our Book Tasting is a relaxed, speed-dating style event designed to introduce adults and teens to a buffet of genres, authors, and hidden gems. Whether you’re a fan of pulse-pounding thrillers, sweeping historical sagas, or mind-bending sci-fi, there is a seat at the table for you.
🍽️ On the Menu:
Genre Flights: Move from table to table to explore different categories—including; Realistic Fiction, Historical fiction, Fantasy, Science fiction, Mysteries, and Horror
Menu Scorecards: Use your personal Tasting Menu to take notes on what piqued your interest and what you’d like to order (check out) later.
✨ How It Works:
Be Seated: Find a spot at a themed table that catches your eye.
Sample: Spend 10 minutes tasting a genre—read the jacket blurbs, skim the first chapters, or even just flip through the pages.
Review: Mark your Menu with your initial impressions for each book you taste. Is it a Must Read or Not My Plate?
Rotate: When the bell rings, move to the next course!
The event is open to all ages, however the books have been curated for adults and teens (ages 13 )
