100th Anniversary Charity Golf Tournament

This year marks a major milestone for Knoebels Amusement Resort. We are celebrating its 100th anniversary! What began in 1828 as a simple farm purchased for $931 grew, over the generations, into a creek-side swimming hole and picnic destination known as Knoebels Grove. On July 4, 1926, the Knoebel family officially opened the property as an amusement resort, adding a restaurant, a steam-powered carousel, and a handful of simple games. They laid the foundation for what would become America's largest free-admission amusement park.
As part of the 100th anniversary weekend celebrations, Knoebels is inviting the community to participate in something new: the
first-ever Knoebels Kares Charity Golf Tournament.
Tournament Details:
Format: Scramble
Cost: $350 per foursome
Includes: Light breakfast, hot dog at the turn, one beer per player generously sponsored by Rusty Rail, and lunch at Nickle Plate Bar & Grill following the tournament.
Prizes: Awarded to the top 3 teams
Proceeds benefit Knoebels Kares, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to giving back to the central Pennsylvania community through scholarships for individuals pursuing educational opportunities and financial support for qualified local nonprofits.
