Segmented Slab + Coil Trinket Dish Workshop
Your jewelry deserves better than a random pile on your nightstand—let’s make it a proper home.
In this hands-on pottery workshop, you’ll create a one-of-a-kind trinket dish using a mix of slab building and coil techniques. We’ll guide you through constructing a segmented design—think sections, compartments, and subtle dimension—perfect for rings, earrings, and all the tiny things you swear you won’t lose.
You’ll start with a rolled slab base, then build up walls and details using coils to create shape, structure, and a little extra personality. Add texture, carve designs, or keep it clean and modern—this piece is all about making something functional that still feels like you.
No experience needed—just come ready to play with clay and maybe get a little messy. We’ll walk you through each step and share tips to keep your piece sturdy, balanced, and actually usable (because yes, it needs to sit flat).
All materials, tools, and instruction are included. After the workshop, we’ll glaze and fire your dish, and it’ll be ready for pickup once it’s kiln-finished.
Equal parts practical and personal—because your favorite pieces deserve a spot that isn’t “wherever you dropped them.
THIS DATE IS WHEN YOU WILL MAKE YOUR PROJECT; You will choose your GLAZE DAY while you are at your workshop. You will not take your project home with you on your make day ; it needs to be fired after the workshop.
