Rehearsals are held on Mondays at the Playhouse and from Tuesday to Friday at Hershey Gardens, culminating in a performance of "Treasure Island" on Friday, July 17, at 2 p.m. This thrilling production, adapted from Robert Louis Stevenson's classic tale by Jennifer Feldser, follows Jim Hawkins on an adventurous quest for treasure, facing the notorious pirate Long John Silver and his crew. Campers will experience auditions, acting games, rehearsals, memorized lines, blocking, and swashbuckling fights, culminating in a polished show enhanced with costumes, props, and set pieces.
