SUNOL - Inviting the sign language community to explore the park after dark! As darkness falls, watch as creatures of the night emerge. Join a Naturalist along with an ASL interpreter to discover the whimsical winged mammals who call Sunol home. Meet at the Sunol Visitor Center. We will learn about bats and nocturnal animals of Sunol before embarking on a short journey to a location nearby for bat viewing. Accessibility: Parking area is a gravel lot. There is a paved path leading from an accessible parking spot to the front of the visitor center. We will be traveling along an unpaved, dirt path, which is less than 1/2 mile to a bat house locality. This program is accessible to wheelchair users and those using mobility devices.
