AMC 8 Competition Prep Class

EMC is offering an AMC 8 Competition Prep Class designed for students who want to feel confident solving challenging competition problems and not get stuck during the test.
This is a focused, small-group course where students don’t just practice, they learn how to think through unfamiliar problems, break them down, and find efficient solutions. We focus on the types of questions that build strong problem-solving habits and make a real difference in competition performance.
By joining the course, students will:
• Work through competition-style problems across key topics like algebra, geometry, counting, probability, and patterns
• Learn strategies to approach unfamiliar problems with clarity and efficiency
• Build strong problem-solving skills, including pattern recognition and logical reasoning
• Practice with AMC 8–style questions through timed work and guided discussion
• Gain confidence in tackling challenging questions independently
Dates:
June 22 – August 9 (7 weeks)
Fridays 4:00–5:30 PM PST

Cost: $400 for the full 7-week session

Format: Live online, small group, 1.5-hour classes
