Young Earth Scientists Workshop

The Young Earth Scientists Workshop is an engaging hands-on S.T.E.A.M camp tailored for curious explorers aged 4.5 to 11. Designed to foster inquiry and creativity, this workshop invites children to delve into essential Earth science concepts through a variety of interactive activities, such as creating tornadoes in bottles, participating in a cookie mining challenge, building edible soil layers, and simulating oil spill cleanups. Additionally, campers learn about the water cycle through dynamic models, all while engaging in collaborative, tactile experiences that encourage curiosity and problem-solving.

This camp also emphasizes communication and creativity through a Young Speakers component, where participants enhance their public speaking skills via improv games, storytelling, and role-play. The camp culminates in a light-hearted video showcase, allowing children to share their talents with family.
