Oct. 7 in Bogalusa - Free Child Abuse Prevention Training

Stewards of Children is a free training that teaches adults on specific, concrete actions they can take to protect children from abuse. This FREE class will be taught in person at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital, 433 Plaza Street in Bogalusa, from 6-8:30PM. Attendees are to enter through the emergency room entrance and wait there, as the main doors are locked after 5PM. A Hope House staff member will pick them up from the emergency room and walk them back to the boardroom before the class begins.
Any adult is welcome, regardless of whether they work with children, have kids of their own, etc. Registration is required, as free dinner and refreshments will also be provided. IMPORTANT: A 24-hour advance notice of your registration cancellation is required, as food will be ordered in advance for all attendees.

For every one adult that takes this free training, it is estimated that 10 children are safer and less likely to become victims of sexual abuse. Each class is taught by Hope House's trained facilitators.
