Join us for "Speaking of Kinship," part of The Dr. Allen W. Root Contemporary Art Lectureship, on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 5:00 to 6:30 PM at the Hood Museum of Art. This panel discussion features artists Nancy Rivera, Sim Chi Yin, and Kali Spitzer, whose work is displayed in the exhibition Visual Kinship. Moderated by Associate Curator of Photography Alisa Swindell, the conversation will explore photography’s role in understanding and representing kinship in their art practices.
