Details:
As a material, wood is at times overlooked, yet it is present in nearly every aspect of life. From seating to sculpture and beyond, wood has been utilized for thousands of years for both function and expression. Brunnier Art Museum curator, Adrienne Gennett, will lead a tour of both the functional and sculptural works of art made of wood from the permanent collection. As a bonus, attendees will also explore how trees have inspired artists over time and how wood plays an important role in printmaking.
