The Emory University Division of Neonatology is a large group of over 75 faculty, nurse practitioners, and staff dedicated to providing exceptional clinical care for newborns, often from the Atlanta area and beyond. They manage over 9,000 deliveries and 1,500 intensive care unit admissions annually, alongside seeing over 1,200 patients in high-risk follow-up clinics. The division also emphasizes education, mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows, and conducts research to improve patient care by understanding biological processes and translating findings into practice. Their clinical services are provided across three major Emory-affiliated hospitals in Atlanta: Grady Memorial Hospital, Emory University Hospital-Midtown, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston.
