Details:
Join our creative journey with two engaging classes: **JWY 04 - Beginning/Intermediate Jewelry & Metalsmithing** and **TEX 01 - Floor Loom Weaving**. In JWY 04, beginner students will master foundational metalsmithing techniques such as piercing, soldering, forming, and bezel setting, while intermediate students will delve into advanced methods like prong setting and chain making. Emphasis will be on tool handling and material use to create beautiful, durable jewelry. Over an 8-week session, students will progress from demonstrations to hands-on project work, receiving personalized guidance throughout.
In TEX 01, students will tap into their creativity as they set individual weaving goals or choose spontaneous projects from the weaving hat. The instructor will provide tailored support to help realize each student’s unique design vision. Some prior experience is preferred, while beginners are encouraged to take introductory workshops. All necessary supplies, various cottons, are included with registration. Both classes offer a supportive environment to enhance your crafting skills and express your artistic individuality.
