Details:
Join us for the "Fabric Foundations: Open Sewing Lab" at the St. Marys Community Public Library! We will be hosting a variety of sewing activities including a quilting class on June 3rd, a sewing class focused on garment repairs on June 10th, and open sewing labs on June 17th and June 24th, all from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The quilting class will guide participants in making a new 12-inch quilt square, while the sewing class invites you to bring a garment that needs repair.
During the open labs, feel free to bring your own projects and get tips from fellow sewists. This program is open to everyone, with ages 14 to 18 welcome to attend alongside an adult. The library provides necessary supplies and notions, but make sure to register for the classes and reserve a sewing machine if needed. Reservations are required to ensure adequate preparations, so please call (419) 394-7471 or visit us at 140 South Chestnut Street for more information. Stay connected by checking our online calendar at smcpl.org/ and following us on social media for updates on library events!
