The Prairie Arts Center's mission is to inspire artistic exploration and foster creativity for all ages and skill levels. Originally established in 1971 by Oklahoma State University architecture students, the center has evolved from a humble barn into a state-of-the-art facility on Duck Street, reflecting a rich legacy of community support. After becoming a non-profit in 2012 and transitioning management to OSU in 2017, the center was renamed in 2018 to honor its Oklahoma roots. The Prairie Arts Center remains dedicated to enhancing community engagement through the arts.
