Link: https://4h.zsuite.org/external-event-registration/48134 STEM Ambassadors Summer Camp Dates: July 20-22 Location: Your local team hub (St. George, Hurricane, and Enterprise Libraries) This isn’t just a camp—it’s the start of your journey as a Teen Mentor. Over three days, you’ll dive into high-energy activities designed to sharpen your skills in: 1) Leadership & Team Building: Learn how to lead a crew and work together to solve complex challenges. 2) Creative Brainstorming: Master the art of designing epic STEM activities. 3) Public Speaking: Practice presenting and facilitating like a pro. Why Join? As a STEM Ambassador, you become a local leader. Once you finish camp, you’ll spend the year making a real impact in Washington County: A) Library Legends: Plan and run monthly STEM Club activities at your local library (Aug-March). B) STEM Night Stars: Facilitate hands-on stations at Elementary School STEM and the Arts nights. C) Robotics Experts: Get behind the scenes at VEX tournaments and serve as a judge for FIRST LEGO League (FLL). D) Legacy Builders: Join the STEM TRY team and become a go-to mentor for robotics and technology. Find Your Team We are looking for a small, elite group of 6 to 12 students per team to represent their communities: Team St. George: Serving Ivins, Santa Clara, and St. George. Team Hurricane: Serving Washington, Hurricane, and LaVerkin. Team Enterprise: Serving Enterprise, Veyo, and Dameron Valley. Spaces are limited!
