Details:
Join us for the "Summer Camp: Little Pollinators, Big Jobs," a hands-on half-day program designed for K-2 learners eager to explore Wisconsin's fascinating pollinators, including bees, butterflies, and birds. Campers will buzz, flutter, and embark on outdoor adventures while learning about the critical role these creatures play in maintaining healthy ecosystems. Through engaging activities such as outdoor exploration, storytelling, games, and crafts, children will discover where pollinators live, what they need to survive, and how to become protectors of the environment.
Participants will safely observe pollinators, plant pollinator-friendly seeds, and express their creativity through nature-inspired art, all while fostering a love for the outdoors and a sense of curiosity. The camp is scheduled daily from 12:30 to 3:30 PM, with a capacity of 24 young explorers and a registration deadline of June 8th. The cost is $110 per student (members save 10%), and an afternoon snack is provided.
Parents are welcome to drop off their campers, who should bring a reusable water bottle, closed-toe shoes, and appropriate clothing for the weather. Experience is not required, as all activities are designed to be beginner-friendly. This playful camp promises an exciting adventure into the world of Wisconsin’s pollinators!
