An ancient Steubenville tradition, in which the expectant mothers of Steubenville judge who makes the best pie. This year, the winner will get, besides the usual accolades and gift cards, the chance to host a pop-up restaurant featuring their pie as the piece de resistance.

Thomas Cole and Dard Hunter America 250 Exhibits, sponsored by Bookmarx Bookstore: ALL NIGHT
Thomas Cole was the genre-defining landscape artist, known for introducing America to the beauty and grandeur of its own, natural views, and for introducing the world to a unique, and "100% American" style of art.
Dard Hunter was a designer of the Arts and Crafts / Art Nouveau school whose patterns, motifs, and fonts still decorate American design today.
They share this in common: they both got their start in Steubenville, Ohio. Come see prints of their most world famous works and read about these local heroes during the Freedom First Friday!

The annual, Great "Find The States" Competition for kids. (Volunteers hide cut outs of all 50 states throughout the downtown; kid 12 and under find them and return them to the Kid's Tent to complete the map and win a prize!)
