Join us for an exciting day at Mark Twain State Park on July 19, 2025, featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Ben Sapp Memorial Trail at 10 a.m. The ceremony will take place at the trailhead near the fish cleaning station off Highway 107. Immediately following the ribbon-cutting, a town hall-style public meeting will offer attendees the opportunity to engage with representatives from Missouri State Parks regarding Mark Twain State Park, Mark Twain Birthplace State Historic Site, and Union Covered Bridge State Historic Site. This meeting invites public input on current and future operations, promoting community interaction and communication.
Additionally, throughout July, Ha Ha Tonka State Park in Camdenton will host Children's Story Time every Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., featuring nature-themed stories followed by craft activities. These free events require no registration and aim to foster community connection with nature. Mark your calendars for these engaging activities!
