Join us for an exciting day of exploration on July 18, 2025, with two unique events in Missouri:
1. **Bats of River Cave** at Ha Ha Tonka State Park in Camdenton (8:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.): Discover the fascinating world of bats as we discuss their nighttime adaptations and the significance of River Cave as their habitat. Gather at the River Cave parking lot at 8 p.m. to hopefully witness the bats' evening emergence. This event is free and open to the public; no registration needed – just bring a lawn chair!
2. **Petroglyph Tour** at Thousand Hills State Park in Kirksville (7 p.m.): Explore ancient rock carvings left by Native American ancestors with park staff. Tours will be held at the petroglyph shelter located next to the beach. This event is also free and does not require registration.
