On FRIDAY, July 24th Project 37 is excited to present the second signal flow event at B-Side Indie Music Cafe!
Signal begins in the mind. It moves through hands, and systems, and relays before landing in the body.
Signal Flow is an electronic music event series rooted in sound system culture—-bringing regional systems and the selectors who know how to run them. This event is about craft, community, and what it feels like when a room is tuned for movement.
There will be a production seminar before the show led by Moniker. Seminar doors at 4, class at 4:30pm.
This is show is ALL AGES and SOBER.
Doors open 5:30pm, music starts at 6pm.

MONIKER //
Moniker is an avant-garde electronic music producer from Nashville. Originally gaining notoriety for genre-bending releases on the German record label Saturate! Records, Moniker has a reputation for live sets featuring inventive bass-heavy sound design over psychedelic broken dance beats. Jacob Tullos, the musician behind the Moniker project, has used his platform to promote music education through workshops and other programs that empower students to express themselves through music composition.
HEDAWN //
Donovan Schmidt is the artist behind one of the Midwests most avant-garde and creatively inspired projects, HeDawn. An experienced DJ with roots in chopped-and-screwed hip-hop, HeDawn has taken the dark and lumbering tones made famous by the late DJ Screw to an extreme and impressive conclusion: an experimental, bass-heavy collage of sounds that resembles no other artist. HeDawn includes audio-visual elements, original production, and highly manipulated bass music to reflect the projects namesake, a sensory-buffet that would appeal to the modern “HeDawnist.” HeDawn continues to push boundaries, striving to create an ever-more-immersive experience that plays with exchanges of energy between artist and community, performer and audience, the self and the other.
FRIK//
Minnesota’s FRIK moves through shadowy deep dubstep, riddim grooves, and high‑tempo DNB to create sets that breathe and evolve. His sound balances introspection with intensity. Pairing familiar classics with emerging artists, alongside original music, a FRIK set looks to build a world that feels raw, warm, and deeply underground.
