Help keep our Northeast Florida waters sparkling clean by joining NEFAR as it hosts its annual Clean Up Florida Waters event on July 18th. You do not have to be a NEFAR member to participate, so spread the word to friends and family so we can make the biggest difference yet this year!
The event will take place at a variety of boat ramps throughout the First Coast including:
-Northside Area & Property Management Councils at Bert Maxwell Boat Ramp
-Southwest Area Council at Knights Boat Ramp & Marina/Black Creek
- Historic Area Council at Wayne B Stevens Boat Ramp/Ortega
- Beaches Area & Ponte Vedra Area Councils at Helen Cooper Floyd Park/Mayport
- GBC, CAR, and Historic Area Council at North Riverwalk/Sidney Geffen Riverwalk Park
- YPN/Mandarin & St. Johns Councils at the Lion's Club Boat Ramp/Arlington
- Private boat owners will meet at 8:30 am at Lion's Club Boat Ramp/Arlington to help clean up uninhabited island in the St. Johns River.
There will be gloves, grabbers, trash bags, water, and snacks provided. All participants will receive a t-shirt and are invited to the after party that will be held at the NEFAR Resource Center from 12 pm - 2 pm. Food, drinks, games, and a raffle will be part of the fun.
