The National Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche invites the faithful to celebrate the feast of St. Kateri Tekakwitha, the first Native American saint, during a special afternoon of prayer, reflection and public veneration of her relic on Tuesday, July 14, in the Shrine Church at Mission Nombre de Dios. This unique celebration offers pilgrims an opportunity to deepen their faith through prayer and to seek the intercession of a saint whose courage, humility and unwavering love for Christ continue to inspire Catholics around the world.
