As one of 33 branches that make up the San Diego County Library, the La Mesa Library is proud to support our community as part of the nation's best library systems, continually ranked in the top 10 for circulation of ebooks, audiobooks and digital magazines through our highly rated Libby app. Every year, five million customers take advantage of our innovative resources in addition to checking out more than 11 million items, including books, CDs, DVDs, and more. Our dedicated staff produce tons of engaging programs and events throughout the year, helping our neighbors find new ways to thrive and grow together. San Diego County Library celebrates its diverse communities, across 4,300 square miles, including the unincorporated areas of San Diego County and 11 incorporated cities.
