Banned Book Club

UPDATE: July's meeting has been moved to June 28 due to it originally landing on a holiday weekend.
July's book is "Looking for Alaska" by John Green. A young adult novel about Miles "Pudge Halter's transformative experience at a boarding school, where he meets the enigmatic and complex Alaska Young, leading to first love, friendship, pranks and tragedy, exploring themes of life, death and finding meaning.

Join GLO at our Banned Book Club, where we'll be reading a series of books that have been or could be banned, followed by discussions on the books, novels, and writings.
This is a SAFE SPACE and is open to allies and open-minded individuals. The GLO Center works hard to provide a safe environment for its community. All who are willing to listen and add to the atmosphere in a safe and open manner are welcome!
