The 32nd Northampton Garden Tour

The 32st Annual Friends of Forbes Library Northampton Garden Tour will take place Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine.

We hope the tour will inspire and educate with a variety of landscape styles, plants and gardening methods. The care and skill that has been poured into these gardens is extraordinary. Each garden has plant descriptions and volunteer guides to answer your questions. There will be live music and a plein-air painter for your enjoyment. Bicyclists are welcome along this 12 mile scenic route. Tickets provide garden locations and parking guidance. You provide your own transportation to all gardens on the tour.

Tour tickets are $20 if bought in advance and $25 on the day of the event. Purchase tickets May 5 through June 12 at Bay State Perennial Farm (Whately), Cooper’s Corner (Florence), State Street Fruit Store (Northampton), Gardener’s Supply Company (Hadley), Sugarloaf Gardens (Sunderland), or at Forbes Library.

Option to prepay online May 4 through June 12 and pick up tickets at Forbes Library the week of the tour on Thursday, June 11 from 10:00am-8:00pm; Friday, June 12 from 10:00am-6:00pm; or Saturday, June 13 from 10:00am-1:00pm.
Day of tour tickets are $25 and ONLY sold at Forbes Library from 10am-1pm on Saturday, June 14th.

Bring cash to the garden tour, or buy your raffle ticket at Forbes Library May 5 - June 13. Raffle tickets are $5, $10 and $20 offering multiple chances to win. The raffle drawing will take place at the end of the tour. Winners will be notified by phone. Whether you are a gardener or garden admirer, there is bound to be a prize for you.

Buy a Northampton Garden Tour T-Shirt for $25, or 2 for $40. T-shirts are sold at Forbes Library and at the garden tour. All proceeds from the tour, raffle and t-shirt sales benefit the Friends of Forbes Library, Inc to help fund collections, programs, projects, preservation, events, training, and equipment to enrich the Library’s exceptional resources and services that benefit the local community.
