4th of July Stars & Spokes Ride

The Springfield Bicycle Club, in partnership with the Gold Star 500 ride will host a ride the morning of the 4th of July to celebrate America! The starting location will be the VFW hall in Chatham at 214 W Chestnut St, Chatham, IL. We will develop a route that includes a stop at the American Legion Hall in Virden, IL. Their volunteers will be selling slices of pie, drinks, and other goodies to raise money for their organization. After the ride is finished, the VFW in Chatham will serve hot dogs and the bar will be open to raise money at their location as well.
We encourage people to ride from the County Market parking lot in Chatham as it might be difficult to find sufficient parking.
