Details:
Every day at Cat Tales is different. Animal activity can change with the weather, season, care routines, staffing, and each animal’s needs. Mornings are often a great time to visit, especially in warmer weather when animals may be more active before the heat of the day. Midday can still be a good time to walk the grounds, enjoy the habitats, and see daily care routines. Some animals, including the pumas and raccoons, may be fed earlier in the day. Afternoons are popular because feeding encounters generally run until about 3:30 PM, and some animals are often fed their meals between 4:00 and 4:30 PM. This may include canines, Siberian tigers, small cats on the east side, and foxes, depending on the day. Visitors may also have the chance to enjoy: Free daily tourMultiple animal enrichments or trainings per dayKeeper talks & attentive staff for Q&ADaily feeding and care routines Activities, times, and animals featured may change based on animal care needs, weather, and staffing. For the best experience, arrive with enough time to walk slowly, attend available activities, and enjoy the animals at their own pace. Wild animals do not follow a show schedule — and that is part of what makes every visit unique. And with our 35th anniversary celebration happening this season, there’s even more reason to explore, reconnect, and experience Cat Tales in a whole new way. 👟 What to Expect:Sunshine, the occasional breeze — and yes, even sprinklers on hot days. Wear comfortable shoes, bring water, and take your time wandering. ☕ Cold drinks, snacks, and wild stories are always waiting in the gift shop. Most importantly, your visit supports rescue, lifelong care, and compassionate education for animals who can never return to the wild. Every visit truly matters. 🌿 Want to Make It Unforgettable? Book an Animal Encounter and experience the Wild Things in a more personal, up-close way. Can you guarantee which animals will be active? No. Animal activity changes daily based on weather, season, behavior, and care routines. Is feeding time guaranteed? No. Feeding times may change, but afternoon visits often give guests a good chance to see more care activity. Are keeper talks and enrichment included with admission?Yes, when offered that day, keeper talks, enrichment, and the free daily tour are included with admission.
