K-Ready

K-Ready and TCMU Tots are engaging, interactive programs offered at the Spartanburg Children's Museum, designed to foster curiosity, creativity, and essential developmental skills in children ages 2 to 5. K-Ready, held Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, provides guided play, storytelling, art, movement, and exploration, aligning with the five core components of the “Ready Kindergartener” as defined by SC First Steps. This program emphasizes approaches to learning, emotional and social development, physical skills, mathematical thinking, and language and literacy development, all aimed at preparing children for kindergarten in Fall 2026. Meanwhile, TCMU Tots encourages little explorers to engage in sensory play that enhances fine motor and social skills within the Get Up & Grow area. Both programs are included with museum admission and require no registration, inviting families to come ready to learn and play in a fun, inclusive environment.
