K-Ready

K-Ready and TCMU Tots are engaging programs held at the Spartanburg Children’s Museum, designed to foster curiosity, creativity, and joyful learning for children. K-Ready takes place Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, offering guided play, interactive storytelling, art, movement, and hands-on exploration, led by dedicated early childhood educators. This program aligns with the core components of the “Ready Kindergartener” by promoting approaches to learning, emotional and social development, physical development and motor skills, mathematical thinking, and language and literacy skills. It is free with museum admission and does not require registration, making it accessible for children entering kindergarten in Fall 2026. Additionally, TCMU Tots is tailored for little ones aged 2-5, providing sensory play experiences that enhance fine motor and social skills, situated in the Get Up & Grow area on the third floor. Both programs encourage children to learn and play in a fun, inclusive environment.
