Details:
K-Ready is a free, inclusive program held Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Spartanburg Children’s Museum, designed for children entering kindergarten in Fall 2026. This engaging initiative encourages joyful learning through guided play, interactive storytelling, art, movement, and hands-on exploration led by caring early childhood educators. It aligns with the five core components of the “Ready Kindergartener” as identified by SC First Steps: enhancing approaches to learning and inquiry, fostering emotional and social development, supporting physical development and motor skills, promoting mathematical thinking, and facilitating language and literacy development. Activities encourage curiosity, creativity, and essential skills such as counting, sharing, and communication.
Additionally, TCMU Tots, located in the Get Up & Grow area on the third floor, is tailored for little explorers aged 2–5. This program sparks curiosity and creativity through sensory play, helping to develop fine motor and social skills. No registration is required for either program—just come ready to learn, explore, and play!
