K-Ready

K-Ready and TCMU Tots are engaging programs designed for young children, held at the Spartanburg Children’s Museum. K-Ready takes place Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and is included with museum admission. This free program prepares children entering kindergarten in Fall 2026 through guided play, interactive storytelling, art, movement, and hands-on exploration. It aligns with the five core components of "Ready Kindergartener" as identified by SC First Steps, fostering approaches to learning, emotional development, physical skills, mathematical thinking, and language development. Meanwhile, TCMU Tots offers sensory play for children ages 2–5, focusing on fine motor and social skills in a creative environment located in Get Up & Grow on the third floor. No registration is required for either program—just come ready to learn and play!
