Writing a Revolution with Andrew Aydin

Join us for "Writing a Revolution" with Andrew Aydin, co-author of the acclaimed graphic novel "March," which chronicles the life of Congressman John Lewis and his pivotal role in the civil rights movement. This special event will take place in the Barrett Room and is open to ages 13 and older. The first 25 teens and 50 adults who attend will receive a Book Box containing the first volume of "March" and themed items. Hub City Bookshop will be on-site selling books, while the League of Women Voters will assist with voter registration. ASL interpreters will also be available. This event is made possible through a Library Services and Technology Act grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, managed by the South Carolina State Library.
