Details:
The St. Marys Community Public Library invites the community to engage in two exciting events this summer. From June 1st through July 11th, participate in the **National Wish Wall**, a nationwide initiative where individuals can express their hopes and dreams for the future. Community members can fill out a Wish form at the designated station and submit it for curation as a “living archive” or to be saved in time capsules across the U.S.
Simultaneously, from June 1st through July 31st, visit the **Plant a Seed and Read: Farm Exhibit** at the library. This interactive exhibit educates attendees about the growth of vegetables, drip irrigation, aquatic plant growth, and the fascinating metamorphosis of caterpillars into butterflies. Explore the connections between food, family, culture, and ecology, as well as local produce and the wildlife that supports our food systems. Visitors can observe the growth of vegetables and caterpillars in the Create and Connect Space during this period.
Both events take place at the St. Marys Community Public Library, located at 140 S. Chestnut Street. For more information, call (419) 394-7471 or visit smcpl.org/. Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok!
