The library's Workforce Literacy Center assists job seekers by offering classes in resume writing, interviewing skills, and computer use. It also offers PHXWorks - a collection of materials to support workforce needs including resume writing, occupational testing, language learning and computer skills.
This location offers a full range of document services including faxing, photocopying, scanning, and mobile printing.
Remodeling to construct the workforce literacy center was funded through a one-time 2008-2009 Community Development Block Grant Stimulus awarded to the City of Phoenix under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The total project cost was just over $1.6 million.
The library also offers a multi-purpose meeting room that seats 22.
