Home Grown Tahoe: High Elevation Edible Gardening in Summer
Join the UC Master Gardeners of Lake Tahoe for an essential workshop dedicated to high-elevation gardening in the summertime. In this free class, we will cover how to grow berries, tomatoes, beans, and squash. A limited quantity of starts will be available.

Managing the intense high-elevation UV rays and keeping your plants hydrated during our dry summer spells.
How to attract and keep pollinators in your garden to ensure a heavy fruit set.
Techniques to speed up ripening so you can harvest your tomatoes and squash before the first fall frost.

This is an in-person event. Parking is very limited; allow time to park at the old Denny’s parking lot across the street and walk over via the crosswalks at the traffic light. On-site registration available, space permitting.
