Michele D'Amour and the Love Dealers

A stone good time throughout." -- Chris Spector, Midwest Record Michele D'Amour is a Seattle native who was a child prodigy on piano at the age of six. She also started singing from an early age, performing in her church choir. Later, Michele earned her chops singing with several different obscure local bands. In 2012, she formed her own group, Michele D'Amour and the Love Dealers. The Love Dealers are a fun, high energy, swampy mix of blues, funk and R&B. The band features Carl Martin on drums; Patrick McDanel (CD Woodbury Trio, Brian Nova) on bass and vocals; Steve Gorringe on guitar; and Michele D’Amour on vocals. Michele D’Amour and the Love Dealers has performed in various clubs and festivals, including Bite of Seattle and Taste of Tacoma. The group was also a finalist in the Washington Blues Society's 2014 International Blues Challenge. Honors: The band was selected for rotation on STEAM Magazine Radio for April 2015; Ante Up was one of four CDs chosen by International Blues Broadcasters (IBBA) as Pick of the Month for May 2015; The and is a featured artist on Blues 102 / Gizmo Radio; The song "Trouble" was awarded a Grand Prize in the John Lennon Songwriting Competition, 2017.
