Join us for our 7th Adoption Day event on Saturday, June 13 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Pohanka Honda of Capitol Heights as we help even more dogs and cats find the loving homes they deserve
Thanks to this incredible community initiative and our amazing shelter partners, more than 245 pets have already found their forever families through these events — and we can’t wait to continue that impact together.
This special event will feature adoptable dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, sizes, and personalities, meaning there’s truly a pawfect match for every family. Whether you’re looking for a playful puppy, a cuddly companion, or a laid-back best friend, your new family member may be waiting for you here

All adoption fees will be fully covered by Pohanka Honda of Capitol Heights.
Upon arrival, please stop by the Welcome & Registration Table so our team can get you registered to enter the event, help guide you through the event set up, and answer any questions you may have.
Guests can also enjoy complimentary beverages from Tropical Smoothie and PJ’s Coffee while spending time with the adoptable pets
Guests who may not meet their perfect match during the event will receive a $0 adoption fee voucher valid the same day at:
• Prince George’s County Animal Shelter (valid until 3 PM on June 13)
• Brandywine Valley SPCA – DC Village location only (valid until 5 PM on June 13)
Onsite parking staff will assist in directing attendees to available parking.
